Passengers daily have an appointment in a museum that impress in every step, at any glance. It was project of aid the Soviet propaganda and Stalin wanted to show that an amazing future will be come. Unique mosaics, perfect chanteliers, stations combine the magic of Baroque and Classicism with the Soviet idea to portray deals. Yes, its stations look like palaces!
Moscow Kremlin! It is located in the centre of Moscow and has two entrances. It depends on what you want to visit. Opens its gates from 10:00 am to 17:00 p.m. First of all to enter, there are two queues which one is quicker to see their squares and the patriarchal hall but without arsenal room. To go to the arsenal room you must be patient or booke before via internet. So if you want to explore both, book tickets for both of them. From April to October best day for visiting it is Saturday about 12:00 p.m. Watch a military parade with music, horses and formations under military orders with costumes of the Tsarist period. A variety of attractions such as the arsenal room, the diamond collection, the Temple Square, the biggest bell ever, the Tsar' s cannon and the Presedential Palace waiting for you! A must see!
Use the metro (red line) and after you arrive to the Okhotnyy ryad stop, you are only a few minutes walk to get to Red Square.Red square is the central square of Moscow city and the name came from the word κrasnaya which means red or beautiful. Firstly this description was about the Saint Basil' s Cathredral but after become the describtion of all the red square. The mausleum of Lenin is there and from the backside is the tomp of politicians who served the Russian empires and other historical people of Russia such as cosmonaut Gagarin! An execution point, the statue of Minin & Pozharsky volunteers in resistance against Polish invanders at the end of 16 century , the church of Virgin Mary of Kazan and shopping mall Gum are located there.
An historical theatre of Moscow is the global-known Bolshoi theatre dedicated to opera and balley. A symbol of Russia because of its offer to performing arts. More info and tickets here!
Got tired and you need a relaxing day? In the Kuznetsky Most metro station, few metres away behind Neglinnaya street in a path( ask a local about it because is a little bit difficult to find it ), you' ll find the Sanduny bath houses. Even though isn' t cheap it is worth it. Relax and enjoy the russian sauna and taste the delicious food. In the same area, the monument of Karl Marx, Sredensky monastery, Nativity of God' s Mother Convent, the house of the writer Pavlov and many others. Discover this area, parks, many monuments, churches , cafes and restaurants are located.
Old Arbat. In nowdays, tourist pedestrian street that the summer months hosts a lot of open-air artistic activities and in the past was a former hangout of artists and scholars. The house of Pushkin is located here and the house of the architect Konstantin Melnikov. You can walk and shop souvenirs or enjoy your coffee and have a taste of the various cuisines in the area. If you want to get here stop in the Arbatskaya Metro Station.
Add a little rosing flavour to your vacation by cruising the Moscva river. Choose one from the various deals that internet offers. That was a gift from Russian friends for us and we really enjoy it. We had dinner in the cruise boat and we saw Moscow' s most important sites in almost 3 hours. We were also photographed by a professional photografer and generally it was nice.
